its not a strightener but a good conair straightener but i know some1 who uses the conair hairdryer..the one with the comb intact and i works really well!

its called WET 2 STRAIGHT...its like 20 bucks i think ... it doesnt have ceramic plates but it works good on my hair i have really thick curly hair that poofs out alot...go to target or khols or something.....walmart... :)

In my humble opinion and experience I don't think the brand matters, I would say the larger ones, (a larger plate) would be of concern.....

To be honest Kmart or Sally's have the best deals...

Sorry but the best straightener I know is Chi, but it cost me $120.00 which in the long run you get your money back on the fourth time you use it actually. I have mine for over 3 years now, believe me you won't regreat it. I also when wash my hair use Pantene for smooth and straight...it looks gorgeous!

Dont even try to straighten your hair because it will go back to how it was. Trust me, stron hair never stands the way you want not alone curly. To actually get it straightened, you need to get a CHI or something that goes up to 300 degrees. Careful with the more heat you can damage your hair alot. Good luck.
