I have the same hair type. Try a shampoo and conditioner that is designed for curly hair, Herbal Essences has some nice ones. But, definitely get "Garnier curling cream" it comes in a small jar and is only about 2.95. You only have to use a little so it lasts longer and it works great. After you take a shower when your hair is damp, you just put a little in the palm of your hands and rub your hands together to activate it and smooth on the ends of your hair. It tones down the puffiness and gets rid of the frizz. When your hair dries, it looks like soft curls.

I hope you are conditioning your hair like crazy if you are still straightening it!! But if you want to stop, try the newer shampoos made for curly/wavy hair, like Vive and Sunsilk; I have coarse wavy hair and they really do make a difference!! just be sure to get the conditioner that goes along with it..it'll be a nice break for your hair..never heard of 'natural' products for wavy/frizzy hair, but these products will help you a lot....good luck!!

My daughter has this same problem. My cousin, a hair dresser, got her Biosilk products from JC Pennys. They also have it at Sam's Club. The kit pack works well. It has a glazing gel and a silk shine product. Used with the shampoo and condition her hair was in the best condition ever.
