Thick curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I have really thick wavy hair that tangles alot and when i brush it, I look like a poodle! My hair straightner sucks, and I am also trying to grow it, I need to find some good hair products that actually work! any suggestions?

Thick curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!?

A straighter look would be good.

*Try Chi 1' Inch Straightner for $139.95. They've just come out with great holiday colors including the classic ruby red, a mystic blue, and a glittering green. You can find the Chi straightner and other Chi products [brushes, blow dryers, hair products and more] at ulta.com or your nearest ULTA Cosmetics store. Even most cosmetic and hair supply shops carry Chi products.

*If you don't have the money to buy the top-of-the-line straightner, there are many other brands out there that also work great on someone with curly, or frizzy, dull hair. Ask a hair stylist, they'll know some cheaper brands, that WORK!

Good Luck!

Thick curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!?

just thin ur upper part of ur hair so its strait and then put the other in a ponytail curly so it look spongy just make sure it kept up with

Thick curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!?

The answer is MOUSSE. Pantene hair mousse is what I can't live without. They have a lot of different mousses out there for different types of hair. Look into that. I struggle with the same thing.

Thick curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!?

try matrix shampoo, conditioner, and the hair serum. it works wonders for my hair that is the same way. it can get a little expensive, but it's worth it. hope this helps.

Thick curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Curly hair is sexy. i have it but only cause i have a good mix in my family. use garnier frutise*sp or pantine pro-v.

Thick curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Don't brush curly hair! Unless it's wet, of course. I used to brush my dry, thick curly hair and I had the same problem as you. I had it so bad that I got frustrated and basically cut all my hair off. Now that it's longer, I work with the curls.

After you shower, use a leave-in conditioner and brush it. This helps with frizz and fly aways as well as tangles.

Get an anti-frizz gel. If possible, get one that's a curl enhancer as well. I use Herbal Essences Totally Twisted. Cheap but it does the job. Dove had a nice anti-frizz cream that I used back in the summer but the bottle is sort of small and doesn't last long with thick hair. Samy also makes a great curl-enhancer, you might want to go with them.

I have never found a straightening gel/mousse/spray, etc that has ever worked. Even with a straightening iron. Maybe someone else knows something that works but I've found fighting my curls to be useless.

Thick curly hair!!!!!!!!!!!!?

ok i've had the same problem. its terrible i know you can't find any products that work and it doesn't straighten. my advice is to use Dove Smoothing Frizz Control Anti-Frizz Cream when you are preparing your hair to style because it will make it sooo much easier to comb through after that to style it run Biolage Hydro Foaming Styler Mousse to scrunch your hair.

Heres what the Dove Smoothing Frizz Control Anti Frizz Cream looks like: http://www.dove.ca/images/hair/hair_styl...

And heres what the Biolage Hydro Foaming Styler Mousse looks like:

I have extremly curly and thick hair too... what I use is Fuctise... the green stuff... that smells really good... yeah, it works on my hair

I have thick sort of wavy hair, how do I achieve the soft curls look?

i have the same kind of hair, i use either Rave Styling Mousse (from walmart and cvs) or Garnier Fructis Soft Curl Creme with some serum.

i use rave for days when my hair is feelign really healthy or i want a longer hold.

and garnier for those days when my hair feels a bit dry. also garnier is better for when you go out right away because you dont get that crunchy look.

rave does make you hair a little cruchy depending on how much you use, you usually un-crunch it by squeezing your hair gently in your hands. i just usually use it overnight when my hair is wet(leave it layint out about your head on the pillow, like a troll's hair), so in the morning its all loose and free from rolling around on it

I have thick sort of wavy hair, how do I achieve the soft curls look?

Wash and condition your hair. While it is still wet put some gel in your hair and scrunch it at the bottoms. When you start to blow dry scrunch the bottom.

I have thick sort of wavy hair, how do I achieve the soft curls look?

If you have time to do get the curls each day try a curling iron, but not one that is too small.

I have thick sort of wavy hair, how do I achieve the soft curls look?

There are couple of ways. One is to apply a frizz creme (Tresemme makes a good frizz creme) and blow dry. Take some section and wrap them around a large curling iron, lightly spray some hair spray to make the curls stay. Continue all the way around and however far up your hair you want to go. Second, is to use big rollers all over the hair and lightly spray to keep the curls.

I have thick sort of wavy hair, how do I achieve the soft curls look?

after towel drying your hair scrunch it with garnier curl sculpting moose

How to scrunch thick straight hair?

I always wanted to scrunch my hair but it is not simply possible. my hair is really thick and really flat....Every time i scrunch it, my hair stays flat...i usually use herbal essence but it doesn't work at all! i did curl it once but i had to use these little twisty thing that u put in your hair and keep it over night, but that takes hours and i always get pain in my arms. i really, really need help...REALLY!

How to scrunch thick straight hair?

i use mousse, and then hair spray, and then i scrunch it using a blow dryer with a diffuser, but you can try curling it first then putting some hairspray when you're done

How to scrunch thick straight hair?

backcomb it-put it in a pony tail and brush it towards the band

use a spritz if u notice it still has no volume

How to scrunch thick straight hair?

If you have really straight hair then scrunching will do you know good, sorry. pretty much your only option would be a perm and I wouldn't advise that. Have you tried hot rollers or you could try pin curls, use a setting spray or gel all over your hair, then twist into sections while still damp and pin with hair pin. when you take them out you will have waves, but if your hair is really straight it probably won't last. Your best bet is to just learn to appreciate the hair you have and know that tons of people (like me) that straighten their hair regularly to achieve your look. we always want what we don't have.

How to scrunch thick straight hair?

go to a stylist

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

Please recommend the safest process and/or favored hair color brands or products.

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

If you have thick and frizzy hair then I would suggest getting it thinned out a little (it really helps mine). All you have to do is tell your hairstylist you'd like them to use the razor and it makes it a lot easier to handle.

As for the hair color, I get highlights and color done by my hair stylist, but if you'd like a money saving tip I think that if you are going lighter then you should just use Sun In, you just spray it on your hair and go out in the sun for about 10 to 15 minutes and if there isn't a lot of sun you can just use a hairdryer because it's activated by heat, but if you are going darker I think Loreal is a good brand ;) hope that helps.

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

DONT DO IT!

it'll make it A L O T worse!

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

i would say try to get your hair in better condition first,

try a repairing shampoo.

i like anything from pantene pro v, it makes your hair so soft

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

fix your hair into a better condition then go to a salon that u can trust and ask them on wat u should do honestly i dont know hope this helps

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

Go to a hairdresser and get it done professionally

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

I'd get it done at a salon. You don't want to ruin your hair follicle more and damage it more by using over the counter hair dye. Plus, a stylist is trained to help you in that area.

Good Luck

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

Yes wait! Use a conditoner thats for badly damaged hair. Sunsilk works good too.

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

Get it professionally done at a salon and if you MUST do the box any box is fine especially the organic ones. Definitely buy a deep conditioning treatment and do it religiously also EXTRA VIRGIN olive oil is a great household hair conditioning treatment! I use it all the time.

EDIT: oh %26amp; for shampoo and conditioner salon products are the best, redken is expensive but really great! drugstore products really arent that great for your hair.

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

Deffintley get it done by a professional. However if you do decide to do it on your own wash your hair first and put lots of conditioner in it too.Sometimes even applying heat to it helps as well such as blowdrying it.Then dye your hair after that.

Good luck!!

=)

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

my only recommendation would be to stay away from the lighter colors - blonde hair appears more frizzy and if it has any sort of bleach in it, it will damage your hair/break your hair and will look bad - stick to darker browns that will make your hair look much more healthy.

why don't you have it done professionally first and then ask your hair stylist which products are best - they will know for sure.

I am considering coloring my hair, but it is already thick and frizzy. What are my best options?

Look for a line called J.F. Lazatigue. It has no amonia and no peroxide. You cannot go lighter with this color but if you want to stay the same, cover grey or add tone, depth and shine it is wonderful. It is NOT sold in many stores however, Neiman Marcus sometimes carries it. They have a web site and have a US location in New York.

Also, Use the best salon shampoo you can afford. Shampoos have cleansing agents in them that can damage your hair making it frizzy and look chewed up. Phytologie, Rene Furturer and JF Lazartigue are great lines as well as kerastase.

What is good shampoo for REALLY thick (dirty blonde, long) hair?

You are exactually like me. I have the thickest hair on earth( it stands out like 12" on the sides and back). But my hair is short(shoulder length) which makes it worse. I also have dirty blonde hair. My hair is very corse and brittle.

I use dove shampoo....but shampoo doesn't really help. So use Aussie 3 in 1 Mircale. My hair is now super soft! It's amazing. ALL Aussie product have Alo Vera in it which makes the biggest difference in the world. It closes the cuticle of your hair, so it's not all poofy.

I hope you can trust me....cause this product is the best in stores. It's a small bottle.....for about $2.50 but it's worth a try and it's worth it!

Here is a photo of the bottle:

Hope this helps! God bless and have fun with your hair!

What is good shampoo for REALLY thick (dirty blonde, long) hair?

Dry or oily?? Any chemicals on the hair??

Fructis Garnier .or Dove.....Even Suave...For over the counter shampoos....Most shampoos all are composed of the same basic ingredients.....Your hair type depends on the one you use.....One for dry or oily or limp or tinted or permed....You know your hair type...Be sure to always follow with a conditioner especially for the ends of your hair...It removes left over shampoo and close the cuticle of the hair so you can comb it with less hassle!

What is good shampoo for REALLY thick (dirty blonde, long) hair?

you should use pantene, because it has a treatment for any kind of hair or hair color. For example

Helping getting longer & thicker hair?

ok so i cut my hair a couple months ago or so...

and i want it to grow out .. and just be healthier and thicker

-what are some tips to healthier//longer/thicker hair?

-what type of shampoo//conditioners should i use?

-what type of products in general??

-GNC nail//hair pills? (waste of money r no?)

i actually want to dye my hair tonight..should i dye it (auburn)? or should i dye it back to it's natural color (dk.brown)? (does that make a difference in the growth??)

Helping getting longer %26amp; thicker hair?

There is no way to make hair thicker than its natural thickness, but you can use volumising shampoos and conditioners to add more body.

For healthy hair:

Firstly, take vitamin supplements and make sure you get a good intake of protein (This also helps hair grow at its maximum speed).

Secondly, don't shampoo every day, it is horribly drying to hair.

Use a moisturising shampoo every 2-3 days and a moisturising conditioner every day.

Thirdly, you might want to use a hair mask every-now-and-again and deep condition once a week to ensure optimum hair health.

The colour of your hair does not affect the growth.

Bleaching hair may cause changes to the hair's texture.

Helping getting longer %26amp; thicker hair?

don't use shampoo everyday. in days that you don't use shampoo, apply coconut oil. use shampoo with aloe vera extracts. dilute with water. don't use dyes so often.

Hair thinning in young woman age 20, can hair grow back thicker?

She's south Asian, do south Asian (Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi) women have thin hair generally?

She had thick hair as a child. Started thinning as she did exams 16-20, stress related.

Can she thicken her hair again? Can it grow back (if she destresses)? Or is it downhill from now?

Hair thinning in young woman age 20, can hair grow back thicker?

i'm actually facing the same problem right now. i had really, really thick hair when i was a kid but then as i entered high school my hair started to dramatically thin out. i think that i might have lost around half of my hair thickness! i'm still really freaked out and wonder if i'll be bald by 20. i'm also indian, and i think that the reason why indian people usually have thick hair (at least when you go to india) is that they use coconut oil in their hair every day. when i visited india, everyone had hair that was as thick as my wrist (and i'm pretty small), and every day, they put coconut oil in their hair. if you go to any indian store you can buy coconut oil. you can find it in a blue bottle, i think it's called parade or something, but i didn't like it because it smelled really bad. the coconut oil that i'm trying right now is white and comes in a glass jar, and it definitely smells better. i haven't been using coconut oil long enough to know if it'll work but i keep hearing from relatives that it is a good way to thicken hair. i hope it works for both you and me. also, a friend of mine's mom told me that her hair thinned out when she was going through school but then it grew back...so i guess there's hope! good luck!

Hair thinning in young woman age 20, can hair grow back thicker?

could be bc of stress. they have rogaine for women too

Hair thinning in young woman age 20, can hair grow back thicker?

THEY HAVE HAIR VITIAMINS THAT ARE GOOD FOR THIS, THEY TAKE ABOUT 6 MONTHS TO NOTICE A DIFFERENCE. I USE SAMY HAIR PRODUCTS WHICH REALLY MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I HAVE MORE HAIR.

Hair thinning in young woman age 20, can hair grow back thicker?

I found some good info here.

Hair thinning in young woman age 20, can hair grow back thicker?

Hair thinning can also be because of Hypothyroid , get her thyroid checked.

Hair thinning in young woman age 20, can hair grow back thicker?

Hair falls due to genetic reasons, stress, pollution, thyroid imbalance, chemicals in hair styling products and lack of proper nutrition. You can stop hair loss using many cheap and effective home remedies.Egg white, lemon juice, oil massage are other home remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems

I completed chemo 6 mths ago, my hair was curly and thick b4, now it's short, thin & ugly.

I've tried Nioxin and it doesn't seem to help. It was curly ringlets before, and now it's poker straight, %26amp; very thin. I still don't leave the house without a bandana, I'd be very grateful for any suggestions to make it look/feel better. Thank You.

I completed chemo 6 mths ago, my hair was curly and thick b4, now it's short, thin %26amp; ugly. Please help!?

I would totally have some extensions put in your hair. Looks pretty natural and will make the hair look much thicker and pretty. :) Good luck.

What are some cute ideas for thick, long, and curly hair?

I'm jealous. That's all you need to wear it up loosly or in a pony tail or put hair wax in it and make it a little stiff and wear it down. you have no problems. pull back on the sides and pin back with barettes or a hairband which are back in style. a bandanna tied like a hairband and pinned so it stays in. I'm very jealous. Long curly hair.

Do you think Howard Stern wear a wig? His hair seems a little thick to be over 50....?

he got plugs

Do you think Howard Stern wear a wig? His hair seems a little thick to be over 50....?

Not every guy gets thinning hair with age. It just depends on genetics. My grandfather had a head of thick hair with no bald spot at 86.

Do you think Howard Stern wear a wig? His hair seems a little thick to be over 50....?

No he doesn't.

My hair is brown, medium length, thick, and VERY wavy! I want it to be as board straight without bur

My hair is brown, medium length, thick, and VERY wavy! I want it to be as board straight without burning it!?

My hair is just like yours. I use herbal essenses I think its called dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner. It is in a pink and green bottle. I also have the conair wet to straight. It lets your straighten your hair while it is wet and uses the steam to straighten your hair. It works great! Hope I could help!

My hair is brown, medium length, thick, and VERY wavy! I want it to be as board straight without burning it!?

Get it relaxed at the hairdresser, it could cost up to 1000 but if its worth it...why not

Is there a way to make your hair grow thicker?

I have really long hair..down to my lower back, but its not thick, its thin, is there a way to get my hair thick? Is there a vitamin I could take or shampoo i could use....any suggestions?

Is there a way to make your hair grow thicker?

Protein will help your hair become stronger. I always had thin hair, then I cut it a lot. Like shaved in the back and long in the front, then it seemed to grow in a lot thicker. Shampoos, so far, have all been a farce. Your hair will become thicker when you are pregnant, and for me it didn't go back to the way it was. So, yay, thick hair.

Is there a way to make your hair grow thicker?

there are some shampoos that help, and try using some sort of hair gel(or was it hair spray well is one of those the help)

Is there a way to make your hair grow thicker?

you should try nioxin

Does anyone have any tips for me to get thicker hair?

Take vitamins and eat healthy foods. Use velcro curlers for volume.

If i wax my snail trail which has thick hairs, will it grow back thin?

I once shaved my snail trail and the hairs are really thick, if i wax them will they grow back thin? or does anyone know how to make them grow back thin.

If i wax my snail trail which has thick hairs, will it grow back thin?

not thinner, but eventually less of it will come back, but it will hurt a lot the first few times, but the benefits, wow

If i wax my snail trail which has thick hairs, will it grow back thin?

waxing should help but i dont think they will grow back thin- just take longer to grow back. waxing is a really good way to get rid of unwanted hair though since it lasts a while and it quick and for the most part painless. =)

If i wax my snail trail which has thick hairs, will it grow back thin?

hey, hair is genetics. if you naturally have thin hair and you shave it, it will come back thin and the same goes with thick hair. often people believe that hair grows in thicker after shaving but this belief came mostly due to because one shaves while going through puberty, which is also the time hair gets thicker. anyways to answer ur question there is no way u're going to make ur hair get thinner, sorry

If i wax my snail trail which has thick hairs, will it grow back thin?

No, it will grow back the same thickness but after doing it a few times eventually it will thin out.

It will also grow back ITCY!!!!

If i wax my snail trail which has thick hairs, will it grow back thin?

If you wax them they will unfortunately grow back, but some don't. Fortunately it'll take several weeks for the hair to grow back. You should do it.

If i wax my snail trail which has thick hairs, will it grow back thin?

if u wax over a period of time it would be thinner

Use loads of hair bands. Put ur hair in a pony tail then take on bit of it (a small bit) and just scrunch it on to the ponytail and then take anotha piece and scrunch that on the take another piece and scrunch taht on till u have none left...and then u could take one last hairband and put it ofer ur scrunchy thing...looks pretty good if u get it right

Wat should i use to scrunch my hair... and i have thick wavy long black hair?

I have the same kind of hair you start with mouse then blow dry a little with a difuser then stop and scrunch with gel then blow dry a little more then finish it of with hair spray (Rave maximum strength) then keep blow drying until it is dry and keep scrunching while drying. use a difuser thats key!

Wat should i use to scrunch my hair... and i have thick wavy long black hair?

What I use is tressemme's straightening gel and I have thick curly hair. My stylist reccomended it since it has the action of a gel or mousse without the frizziness of it. Stuff works wonders! Also when I want more volume then I'll use garnier products. Hope that helps.

Wat should i use to scrunch my hair... and i have thick wavy long black hair?

I have the same hair too, if your hair already wavy u might not need to scrunch it, just wet it, or add some texturizing spray and spray it in your hair with your head upside down and fluff it and you're done

Wat should i use to scrunch my hair... and i have thick wavy long black hair?

from a hair dresser.use long pieces of cotton fabric.add setting lotion, take large sections of hair. tie on the end at least half an inch then rollandtwist then when it's close to your scalp tie and repeat that all over, sleep on it the next morning UN do and just run your fingers through it you will have large wild wavy hair.

ps if you dont know what his hair looks like type in 'im not okay ' in youtube and u will see it

thankz for answers and looking

How to get emo hair for thick haired boy?

Okay...

1) Thinning sissors dont damage your hair, so thats a thought.

2) Take in a few differnt pictures of styles you like to your hairdresser %26amp; they will tell you what they think would suit your hair type best.

3) invest in some straighterners....the thinner the better.

4) spike up the back with gel.

5) you may want to change your parting...or make one.. to the side.

6) dont put conditioner on your roots! just use a little on the ends.

7) shampoo- do it twice %26amp; then put a little conditioner on your roots, this should last you 2-3 days. Washing it daily will only make it greasy. I use treseme-it makes my hair pretty shiny.

8) Try some tamming spray which will loose any fly aways your hair has.

hope that helps you out!

=D

How to get emo hair for thick haired boy?

I'm about like you, but I'm a girl with emo-ish hair and my hair once was extremely thick and curly.

What I do is I get it thinned and razor cut.

And I flat iron it everyday.

To keep it from frying so bad, I always put on heat protectant spray, gel, pomade, serum, WHATEVER... doesn't matter.

And I don't wash my hair daily, and when I do, I use more conditioner than shampoo and leave the conditioner for a few minutes afterward, then rinse. Shampoo tends to dry hair out if you use it to frequently.

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

When cutting your ends off your hair a bit does it make your hair go thicker because thats what my mum told me to get my hair cut, and i would like to get thicker hair but at the same time i want to grow my hair long.

So is it true?

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

Very Much ....

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

it works for me, I trim half an inch every two weeks.

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

No, I cut my hair all the time, and it never comes in thicker.

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

not really thicker, but your cutting off the "dead" ends, and your hair will grow faster.

YES CUTTING THE END OF YOUR KNOCK THE SPINT END OFF AND IT HELP YOU HER TO GROW MORE AND FASTER

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

try getting your hair layered

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

no prbably not. i wouldnt count on it your best bet is to go to a salon and have them put a volume booster in your hair to make it thicker and you can still grow your hair long too.

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

no, hair is dead cells. it won't make any difference what you do to the ends of your hair since they are just dead cells, thick hair come from the root

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

She knows what she is talking about

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

Yes b/c it make your hair healthy and go faster

Mythbusters (or some show) busted this one a while ago.

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

Go to a hairdresser and repeat your question ;)

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

sweetie, ive been a beauty specialist for 5 years and cutting the ends off your hair will get rid of the split ends which makes your hair grow longer and beautifuler. i recommend you trim your hair once every 2 months.

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

Not working for me

Is it true, that when cutting your ends a little bit off your hair, it makes you hair go thicker?

I am not too sure about the thicker part but keeping your hair trimmed makes it grow faster and actually makes it better for styling.

What is the best way to grow longer, thicker hair.?

Hair grows at a different rate for each person. The best way to keep your growing strong is to keep it healthy and eat a good healthy diet as well. Food plays a big part in your skin and hair growth. And don't believe the empty promises of shampoos and supplements for faster hair growth.

Here are some hair growing tips:

Eliminate or cut back on smoking, caffeine and carbonated sodas which weaken the body and block maximum hair growing potential.

Eat a healthy diet that includes plenty of good protein, vitamins and minerals, specially iron. Try fish, poulty without skin, lean beef, eggs, and dairy products.

Plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and beans.

Avoid foods that are high in sugar or fat.

Treat your hair like a piece of fine old lace. Treat it carefully avoiding any unnecessary brushing, combing or handling.

Avoid use of hot water, hot blow dryers or other hair care tools that may stress the hair.

Have a weekly scalp massage to provide stimulation to the hair follicles.

Do a series of ongoing hot oil treatments to protect the hair's shaft.

Have regular trims to eliminate split ends and allow the hair to look and feel healthier.

Get plenty of rest and sleep to allow your body to grow hair

Avoid stress!

If any of these tips work for you consult a dematologist you might have a condition that it makes your hair stop growing or to fall.

What is the best way to grow longer, thicker hair.?

Try taking a dietary supplement like folic acid, it will help your hair grow fast!

What is the best way to grow longer, thicker hair.?

What is the best way to grow longer, thicker hair.?

The easy, simple, sure-fire way-do NOT dye it (again), and don't "kill it." what i mean by that is don't overdry it with a hair-dryer, try letting it air-dry, and don't use a straightner unless you absolutley have to. You could also try a natural strengthing or thickening shampoo. (Garnier Frutese, ) Lastly, don't brush your hair vigorusly with a hard brush or comb. Try a brush with gentle, soft bristles to keep your hair from pulling out. I hope this helps!

What is the best way to grow longer, thicker hair.?

brush it a lot, this will stimulate the growth.

wash it only once a week,

and keep styling to a minimum.

Henna can be used once a month to thicken hair. If you don't want the reddish tint of henna, try using neutral henna. It's a great conditioner and also has amla, brahmi and jatamansi, all rich in protein. Make sure you don't use lemon or lime juice in your recipe when you make the henna as they can cause your hair to break if it's already weak. Rain water is usually acidic enough to get a nice colour out of the henna as well and won't harm your hair further. Try using the henna as often as you can it should thicken your hair and keep it healthy. If you don't want the red of the henna you may want to look for "neutral" or "colourless" henna. It will do as nice a job for your hair but without the colour. With the neutral henna you just have to mix it with tap water, this should be used as often as possible. If there are any skin problems on your scalp the henna or neutral henna will both help fight it. The last idea I have would be to take coconut oil and massage your head with it every night.

How do I get my hair to grow faster and get more thick?

I have a major problem with my hair - I am loosing a lot and it takes forever for my hair to grow, and I love long hair. Any home remedies on how to grow healthy long hair?

How do I get my hair to grow faster and get more thick?

A couple of tips -

1. don't brush your hair when wet UNLESS you use a good detaingler on it first. You will break and pull out way too much otherwise.

2. cut split ends on a regular basis. It's actually a good idea to trim your hair often to get rid of these split ends. Did you ever notice how quickly your hair grows right after you cut/trim it?

3. buy some good thickening shampoo and conditioner - condition once a day. Panteen thick %26amp; full worked well for me.

4. pull your hair back into a ponytail %26amp; braid when you sleep and as often as you can while you're awake - this will keep it from getting tangled so quickly and reduce split ends, so it can grow healthier faster.

How do I get my hair to grow faster and get more thick?

Vitamins and eating alot of protein will help your hair to grow stronger. Try getting some good vitamins from a place like GNC. Don't buy any cheap ones. Good luck!

How do I get my hair to grow faster and get more thick?

I have heard of a wives tale where you would let a cow lick your babies head to encourage a full thick head of hair.

I know this sounds wierd but you never know.

But I find for myself by not brushing my hair to often, not tying it back to often, and only washing it a couple times a week it grows that fast I have to get it cut every couple of months.

Anyway good luck and I am pretty sure you look fine the way you are.

How do I get my hair to grow faster and get more thick?

In addition to perhaps including a multivitamin/mineral capsule (capsules are easier on the stomach and absorb more readily) After eating food, please go to see your doctor. He or she may want to do some blood tests to rule out iron deficiency or some other ailment. It seems that those vitamins for 'hair, skin and nails' tend to have biotin in them as well. Andrew Lessman who sells his vitamins and supplements from home shopping network (hsn) offers a vitamin for hair, skin and nails. My mom said that it helped her toenail that is quite brittle from a previous surgery. He's also very interesting to watch when he goes on the show to present his products. www.hsn.com Though please do consult with your dr since you are losing a lot of your hair lately, and take good care.

Axel grease is supposedly effective. Used engine oil works well also and is camoflaged nicely into the black hair.

What are some good hair care products for thick, course, and dry African American hair?

try pantene pro-v products, and shop around for a good conditioner, that's wat it really sounds like u need. and as a suggestion, go to a hair store somewhere and by some cholesterol conditioner and use it once a month. trust me it will leave your hair lookin fabulous

What are some good hair care products for thick, course, and dry African American hair?

Dr. Miracles hair products work well. Or you can try using olive oil. You should always use a really rich conditioner for a deep condition. Always deep condition when you wash your hair. And apply olive oil whenever it is necessary. And always use a leave in conditioner. Oh, and stay away from shampoos with alot of -cone in their ingredients. Those just make bubbles that can strip your hair of its moisture. But Dr. Miracles is a good choice. Good Luck!

Personally I hated Dr.Miracle products it irratated my scalp and made it dry and flaky and it was overpriced. I suggest the Organice Roots Stimulator product line. Also dont use too much heat on your hair then your hair will be dry, damaged, and will break off. Make sure you get your hair trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks.

You can find those products at walmart, target, and any hair store.

Try Pantene ~ it's non-oily based hair care product and will soften your hair textures --- believe me, it works on me.

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

I pluck my hair just as someone would bite their fingernails. I sometimes have gone as far as making a bald spot in my full head of hair. Sometimes I look at my hair in the mirror and spot the thickest hairs and I just have to pluck them out. What is this condition and how can I end it before I go bald!!!

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

It's called Trichotillomania %26amp; it's an Impulse Control Disorder.

I used to do it as a child. There was a lot of stress %26amp; fighting going on in my family. I wish I'd been able to see a therapist for it then.

I've learned to recognize the signs %26amp; symptoms so that I can stop them before I get to plucking out the hairs, causing a bald spot. Stress or depression bouts set my hair pulling off. When I get the urge to pull hairs out, I find something to do with my hands. I'll pick up my crochet project, grab a pen or pencil %26amp; a spiral notebook %26amp; write or doodle, draw or get out my paints. The act of busying my hands with something else besides pulling my hair out calms me down. A lot of the times, I get so into the busy work distraction that I complete something I started the last time I had the urge to pull out my hair.

Below is a link to webmd.com's information about the disorder. I also found two other helpful sites.

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

You may be suffering from obsessive/compulsive disorder. It would be a good idea to talk to a professional about your condition.

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

Neurotic Perfectionism with Physical Aspects.

You need to see a therapist, or a hypnotist.

.

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

Yeah i like the feeling of getting them at the root! it feels soooooo good. Lol. But I don't do my scalp hair-- try doing your eyebrows (or even leg hair if it's long enough-- that's just between you and me. hahaha)

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

i do that sometimes too, but i only pull out the really thick ones that grow on my shoulders. those are like black wires

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

you poor baby- stop it, NOW!!!

no one notices your thick hairs- they look at your boobs-

don't start yankin on those, either!!!

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

stop doing that otherwise u will become bald

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

eeewwwww

obsesive complsive are we..?///

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

Oh my gosh I do the same thing. I don't leave bald spots or anything but I pull single pieces of hair and if it's curly or I just don't like how it feels I pull it out. I thought I was the only one that did that. I feel sorry for you because I try and try to stop and I can't. Now I have constant headaches if I even touch my hair and I still do it.

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

My sister used to pull her eyelashes out, but I don't know what the condition is called. I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and I don't do things like that, but you definately need to get diagnosed from a professional. This is not normal thinking and should stop. Do not be ashamed to seek help for it, there are a lot of disorders out there and I'm sure you can get help. God Bless!

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

It could be some kind of obsessive compulsive disorder. Talk to your doctor, they should be able to help you out. ( I have ocd, but everybody's obsessions are different)

Untill then, keep yourself buisy whenever you feel the urge to pluck your hair.

Try knitting, beadwork, sculpting...something with your hands. Anything to keep your hands buisy.

I just have to pull out those thick hairs! Why!?

I used to do that and I realized it was a complete stress related thing..I had a nice little bald spot too in the side of my thick head of hair...I really just had to keep some sween cream on the spot..and so it would stop being red and irratated and keeping me picking...It is definately stress related..I would get so much relief from picking and pulling sheesh what a nut...I am glad I forced myself..(yes forced) myself to quit...it does grow back..

I would suggest you find some one who razor cuts. With the razor they can thin your hair.

As far as the frizz factor goes there is a product by "I. S. O." called "Bouncy Cream". It will control frizz. It does work. I have natural curl myself and use the product daily. Will not leave your hair hard or wet looking.

"I. S. O." is not sold in stores only available in salons. Call the salons in your area and find out who carries "I. S. O."

I've been a licensed cosmetologist for thirty years.

Hope this helps and good luck.

I had fuzzy thick and slightly wavy hair. How can i make it silky straight?

What kinds of product i can use and where can i buy [i live in uk] no ironing.

I had fuzzy thick and slightly wavy hair. How can i make it silky straight?

permanently? you can do the whole japanese straightening thing. but you need to find a qualified beautician who does this, it makes it silky straight and perfect but it is 12 hours in a chair to get it done for about $800.

don't have the money and dont want it permanently: i suggest biosilk silk therapy ($13) its an oil serum its really good and you dont need alot put some of this on damp or dry hair and then let the blowdrying for flat ironing begin!

I had fuzzy thick and slightly wavy hair. How can i make it silky straight?

i use a redken velvet gelatine and you put it in your hair when its towel-dry and damp and them blow-dry it. but i usually straighten it after too. you will get better results if you use a flat iron.

I had fuzzy thick and slightly wavy hair. How can i make it silky straight?

If it's super frizzy you can get it chemically relaxed (like a perm only the opposite) but I would recommend getting it done at a very very good salon so you don't risk ruining your hair.

Do prenatal vitamis really make your hair grow long and thick or is it your hormones??

Prenatal vitamins make the hair grow faster, however they do not make it thick. I have been taking them for about 6 months and my hair is longer and not thicker. I know it is growing because my finger and toe nails need trimmed way more often. I adivse taking it to help with length and also take another daily vitamin to help keep you healthy! =] good luck

Thicks hair?????

Theres this stuff that you spray after your hair is blown dry called vavoom gold heat by matrix. You can get it at the jcpenney salon and it runs about 15.00 dollars. It works very well for frizz. You just spray it on each piece then straighten with a straightner.

Where can you find LONG 18"+ hair extensions that are Thick and EVEN at the bottoms?

I don't know about online. But if you are anywhere near Tacoma, WA there is the B%26amp;I, but the cheapest and nicests (about 75% cheaper than anyone else) is the warehouse next door to the Grocery Outlet in Lakewood.

But online? I have no idea. Good luck.

yeah

Where can you find LONG 18"+ hair extensions that are Thick and EVEN at the bottoms?

you would have to cut them yourself, because they dont cut them before they put the hair like that so its 'longer' .. so basically it will always be that way on the bottom unless you cut it.

Thicker hair!?

how can i make my hair thicker i heard some where about hair food? any ideas

Thicker hair!?

Omega 3 Fatty acids (fish) and rubbing oil in your hair

Thicker hair!?

pink hair lotion 4 yimes a week in a month thick hair

Thicker hair!?

u can diffuse your hair to give it volume

Thicker hair!?

well my hair is naturally exceedingly thick and it's not all it's cracked up to be! takes soo long to straighten etc. Anyways..erm you can try to volumise it by blow drying it upside down

Thicker hair!?

tease your hair and have lots and lots of hairspray!

or hair gel that always works

and when buying shampoo and conditioner get the one that says volume :]

aussie makes those :]

Thicker hair!?

without getting too complex, to make my own hair thicker, take a shower late at night and don't blow dry or anything, just go to bed with it down and wet, don't worry about knots or anything, trust me, it looks great.

i just think you should really try it and see if it helps before you go out and buy a bunch of junk that probably won't work

hope it helps!

Thicker hair!?

I'm not messing with you, this actually works.

Whenever you're brushing your hair (especially after you wash it) throw it in front of you so it's covering your face and brush from the roots at the nape of your neck.

Now it does take time, like everything, to see results but it's worth it.

Good luck.

Thicker hair!?

Regular massage to the scalp to increase blood flow.

Thicker hair!?

use weed oil. u'll see da differnce in 10 days

My hair used to be thick now im havin a tremendous hairfall.plz help me...?

i dont have problems like dandruff, etc

My hair used to be thick now im havin a tremendous hairfall.plz help me...?

I have very thick hair and every time I shower I loose hand fulls. A stylist told me that like all of our skin our scalp needs oxygen. Lack of oxygen can cause the scalp to release hair follicles which will come out when brushing and washing.

If you are not noticing bald patches then this is probably just normal hair loss due to your think hair. But if you are loosing serious amounts of hair (clusters every time you touch your head rather just several strands) this could indeed be a skin condition or stress. If you are having these kinds of hair loss I would see a doctor or at least a beautician.

They may suggest medication or a medicated shampoo like rogaine that will held your scalp and hair.

Best of luck to you!

My hair used to be thick now im havin a tremendous hairfall.plz help me...?

Trust me you don't have cancer. I used to have this same problem. Sometimes falling hair is due to stress. Question urself... have u been under stress lately? If not, this could be due to puberty, or growing up! I had the same problem... mine was cuz of stress... but eventually it will go away once the stress is gone!

My hair used to be thick now im havin a tremendous hairfall.plz help me...?

It's probably due to stress, but it also could be a result of using hair products, heat appliances, or if you've ever dyed it or highlighted.

My hair used to be thick now im havin a tremendous hairfall.plz help me...?

dont forget: 100 pieces of hair falling per day is normal. (about as much as your shower drain)

to help, i suggest taking a daily multi vitamin. or try nioxin products, but they dry your hair out.

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

I am facing this problem since long and I have tried Lolane, Glatt etc.But it seems straight when the hair is wet.But when my hair dries, my hair will again be very curly.

Please find me the solution.Thanks

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

A flat iron. Men use them too. they work great, but don't put the setting too high cause it can damage you hair...fry it and make it frizzy. Use it after brushing your hair while blow drying. Go to your local hair salon and they will give you special products to keep your hair healthy. =0)

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

Sleep with your head in a bowl of soy sauce.

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

Curly hair is great. I think it is always best to work with what you have rather than trying to change it. It will be a never ending process. Instead, find a good hairdresser that can cut it to lay right.

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

You can go to saloon for treatment to get sraight!

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

Don't make it straight! Keep it curly! Just use a product that makes it soft and embrace it!

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

Use hair straighteners.

I know girls use them but I know lots of guys that use them.

Buy some cream that will help straighten hair.

Wash your hair, towel dry, then rub in the cream, then blow dry the hair and then straighten it.

If you dont have straighteners use your moms or sisters.

Or buy some.

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

go to rite aid..walgreens..or some similar place.. go to ethnic hair products section for people of color and get a relaxer. buy according to hair texture... normal.. regular.. extra strength. get help.. you do not want to go bald. just read directions thoroughly and do not leave in long.

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

curly hair is just great but if you want straight hair .. and you find it annoying to use the straightener maybe you should buy one type of liquid that use to straighten your hair for quit sometimes.. but you hair might be quite dry after that

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

Only thing I can think of is hair straighteners. I know girls use them but some guys do too. But then again your hair might be really short, so go and ask at your local salon.

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

Try to keep long hair. In the long hair rub coconut oil, wet it and dry it with hair drier. Don't take much onoin with food because it contains sulphur and curling hair consist of a sulphur containing protein in isomeric form.

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

F CORSE STRAIGHTEN IT!!!!!

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

curly hair is cute on guys. if you get a hairstyle that suits you.

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

Hi,

I would suggest not to go to the treatment salon for straight hair because then your hair would have faster result of breakage, which is not healthy at all,you could probably get some straighting shampoo and conditior. and also comb out your hair 2 times in a day with a paddle brush that would help.

I am a guy and I have short hair but it is very hard, thick and curly. How can I make it straight?

hello,

i honestly feel u should not go for straightning ur hairs let it be natural it has its own beauty and very few people get it .only thing u make them soft by applying egg on it as a conditioner and make it managable it has its own advantage u need not comb now and then

If you have somewhat long and thick hair can u still where a wig?

my hair looks very similar to my cartoon avatar but the difference is due to hair coloring and using flat irons and other hair products over the years, i have hair breakage and drying so i wanted to give my hair a rest and start wearing wigs and/or weaves i see a lot of nice looking wigs and so i'm just curious if it's possible with my big *** head lol and my loads of hair so advice please!

If you have somewhat long and thick hair can u still where a wig?

Have your real hair braided (as thin as possible) and wear a stocking cap over your hair under wig or have weave sew over braids. This helps to give you a break from heat and color damage but can be damaging in itself because braiding too tight will thin your hair out around the hairline and keeping it braided too long will cause the hair to get very dry/brittle, also causing excessive breakage.

If you have somewhat long and thick hair can u still where a wig?

condition it

If you have somewhat long and thick hair can u still where a wig?

If youll be wearing weaves or wigs longterm, theres hair cuts that can thin out your hair and hairproducts that can cut down the frizz instead of ironing it.

If you have somewhat long and thick hair can u still where a wig?

If you want to wear a wig, braid your hair to the back and make sure the parts are small so that the braids aren't bulky and make the wig look crazy on your head.

Washing your hair everyday damages your hair.. read on more tips below!

Having Hair Problems??!?!?

Check this ouT!

Take good care of your hair! It will add to your charm - who can resist a person with lovely, silky hair? So do try out the above tips! Hope these littles tips have been useful! :)

Tips To Stop Hair Loss %26amp; Keep Healthy Hair Here are some hair care tips that you can use to help stop hair loss and keep your existing hair healthy and looking great. Please don't take these tips lightly. They are very important . The only thing they require is your time and commitment.

- Massage your scalp with your fingertips (not your nails) daily to stimulate and promote circulation to your scalp and reduce excess fallout. Invert your head while you shampoo %26amp; massage your scalp. This helps promote blood circulation to the head.

- Essential oils %26amp; tea . To stimulate scalp circulation, massage the scalp with rosemary essential oil or rinse hair with tea made from sage.

- Comb or brush your hair and scalp gently in the morning and at night. This helps break up hardened oils (sebum) that are clogging your hair follicles. Doing this alone has produced new hair growth. Do not over do combing or brushing.

- keep a distance from dryer's heat. When using blow dryers, always keep the heat a good distance from your scalp and hair. Avoid heating the scalp and hair excessively. Excessive heat will increase hair loss, and excess fallout.

- Avoid getting hair creams, lotions, styling gels and sprays directly on the scalp as they will clog your hair follicles. Use a light hold spray if you must.

- After swimming in a pool, shampoo your hair as soon as possible to remove any chlorine residue. Chlorine is extremely damaging to the hair and scalp.

- Avoid over-exposing your hair and scalp to the wind and sun. Good hair care over a long period really makes a difference!

- Avoid tight hats and caps as they contribute to poor circulation, depriving the hair of proper nutrition and stunting new hair growth. The sweat, dirt and grime around the rim inhibit follicle health and contribute to build-up.

- Always consult your health care provider for extreme causes of excess fallout and thinning. A medical condition or medication could be causing hair loss side-effects.

- Strive for balance and harmony in both your personal and professional lifestyle. High stress factors can cause your body to react by fluctuating hormone levels. This in turn causes excessive oil secretion (sebum) which results in hair loss.

- Pregnancy, nursing, menopause, and even birth control medication can cause constant changing factors on your nutritional needs and hormonal levels which contribute to hair loss and excess fallout.

- Avoid "crash and fad" diets. Proper nutritious meals along with vitamin and mineral supplements are a key factor for healthy hair and skin.

- Good hair care starts with awareness. These hair care tips, if followed consistently, will reduce excess fallout, hair loss, and promote new hair growth.

- Reduce hair loss effects by increasing your intake of vitamin C found in fresh fruits and vegetables, particularly citrus fruit and juices, parsley, broccoli, green peppers and black currants. Take a vitamin B complex everyday or brewers yeast. Increase your intake of protein found in meat, fish, liver, wheat germ, dried cooked beans and peas, tofu, cheese, milk and eggs.

- Take dietary supplements such as Vitamin B6, zinc %26amp; saw palmetto. Supplements are useful when you can't get enough from natural food sources.

- The Chinese believe that hair is nourished by the blood, and therefore influenced by the kidney %26amp; liver. Treatment is aimed at these organs using fleece flower root, wolfberry fruit or mulberry fruit.

- Eliminate stress or else it can be disastrous to your precious hair!

- Get enough sleep. Sleeping well is essential for the health of your hair as well as for the rest of your body.

There are ways you can help stop the grease from appearing but you have to work at it.

Do not wash everyday. The cleaner your hair is the more it can seep into your glands and harder it is to get rid of. When you do wash make sure you are washing with a cleaning shampoo and scrubbing the build up off. Take in mind that you also have to have a ph-balanced mild shampoo and lite scrubbing is recommended. Try to avoid conditioner at the roots, apply in the middle or on the ends.

Try to avoid oil in your daily food intake. And do eat more vegetables. You could visit your doctor but only after you check and consider your diet, drugs, alcohol, and your fatty food intake. Let's face it we see what McDonalds can do to your heart in a month, can you image your hair. You would be dripping everywhere.

Maybe it's time to change your shampoo. Ask your stylist what she or he would recommend. Avoid using shine products at all costs. Keep away from two-in-one shampoos and conditioners and any frizz serums.

To fix at the moment, rub a little Talcum Powder on your dried hair at the roots. Just make sure you wash it out. I wish they would event that magic product, but this will help until they do.

Here are 10 tips for to keep your hair strong, smooth, shiny and beautiful!

1. Keep your diet balanced, and eat protein and calcium rich foods. Stay away from junk foods! This is essential for healthy hair.

2. Foods and supplements to nourish your hair:

* Beans

* Yogurt

* Almonds

* Vitamin B

* Fish

* And of course, the magic potion for beauty - WATER

3. Before washing your hair, comb it well to make sure all knots has been loosened from your hair.

4. Before applying shampoo, use warm water (35 to 38 degrees Celsius) to run through your hair to rinse and wet it thoroughly.

5. When applying shampoo or conditioner, don't use your fingernails to scrape through your hair. Instead, use your palm and fingertips to massage your scalp and hair gently, in circular motions. This will help the circulation and also help to keep your hair shiny and smooth.

6. After rinsing away all the shampoo, run water over your hair for at least another half a minute (3 minutes is best) to ensure there are no remains of shampoo remaining in your hair, since this will cause a great deal of damage to your scalp.

7. When applying hair treatment products, do so just after you have washed your hair, so that your hair can absorb all the good stuff while it is half wet. This will be the best time for it to absorb nourishment.

8. NEVER go to bed with your hair wet! Hair that is half wet is most easily broken, and if you sleep during this time, your hair will be rubbing against each other, damaging your hair in the most terrible way.

9. Too much pressure may lead to hair loss! Relax... try some good relaxation methods such as soaking in a nice scented bath, listening to music, and eating healthy comfort foods such as strawberries and grapes.

10. Perming and coloring seriously damages your hair. Avoid it as much as possible. Also, when using hair setting products such as gel or putty, use as little as possible, because they hurt your scalp and hair. Wash them out thoroughly afterwards with a shampoo specially created for removing styling products.

Thicker hair??

how do i get thicker/ shiny-er hair??

like..

honey

mayo

any home-based products?

Thicker hair??

Don't know of any home-based that really work. But, I do know that Minoxidil 5% for men (brand name: Rogaine) really does work for me. (I'm female)

It took several weeks to notice the difference, but now I've been using it about 3 years and I'm pleased. Extreme thinning/baldness runs in my family in the older ladies and it worried me cause mine was getting thin. The Rogaine was expensive, but now you can get it generic cheap (ebay). BUT YOU MUST BE CONSISTENT -- USE EVERY DAY.

Thicker hair??

I dont know home-based,but try coconut cream.Indian women have thick hair, right? They use coconut cream.Try it %26amp; Good Luck!

Thicker hair??

A few years ago I was quite sick and a lot of my hair fell out. I went to a hairdresser to get a haircut that would help not show that my hair was quite thin .. and she advised me that my scalp should be massaged as often as possible ... especially during a wash .. but otherwise, whenever I could do it. She said that a good solid scalp massage clears the skin and stimulates hair folicules so growth becomes possible. Well, I've not used any special products, but my hair has been growing back so I think at the very least, if its not science .. it at least feels good .. and its helping me. I don't see why this can't work on anyone who wants thicker, healthier hair.

Thicker hair??

honey and mayo don't work thats all i know

Help please my hair is so thick and frizzy?

John Frieda's Dream Curls, it isn't all that cheap but the bottle does last ages as you don't need much for an application, so over time it doesn't work out too expensive.

Just spray it on after you've towel dried your hair, then blow dry, the frizz should be gone. i have to use it every day but it does work.

good luck xx

Help please my hair is so thick and frizzy?

Dont thin u will look funny i have the same problem wut i do is there is this stuff u can get @ walmart and it is orange its called Cholesterol it works magic o and shampoo and Conditioner Vive Loreal for thick dry rebellious hair i love this stuff!

Help please my hair is so thick and frizzy?

Biosilk!!!! The Silk Therapy worked wonders on my hair when it was long! My hair is REALLY thick REALLY wavy and this tamed it so well. MUCH better than any other serum I ever used on my hair. I use it on my daughter's long (down to her legs) hair - it works wonders!

Help please my hair is so thick and frizzy?

I would suggest Sauve. It is very inexpensive, and I find it works better than all of the products you can find at a hairdresser. Don't blow dry your hair unless you absolutely have to. It makes it frizzy, and drys it out. Straightening, or curling your hair every so often would be okay as long as you have the right kind of straightener, or curler. Mine is a CHI and it locks in moisture. After you straighten your hair you might get a few fly aways. Sometimes I will take a bit of water and smooth them down, but don't do this, and straighten again. Now for your thickness I suggest you get it thinned out with a razor. This way you won't have to straighten it every day for it to look good. Also you will save your poor hair from the side effects of many straightners.

Help please my hair is so thick and frizzy?

My hair is the same as yours, but when i went to a new hair salon they made my hair the best ive ever seen it. I had long layers put in it and they then blow dryed it, straighten it and then they put some leave im condition on their hand and slided it through my hair then combed it through, this made my hair looking and feeling thinner and it looked great i now do this at home and if i want it curly i do all this first then i just use some curlers in my hair. I hope this helps you like it did me.

Help please my hair is so thick and frizzy?

you could try using thinning scissors on it and also when it wont straighten properly after you have washed your hair put mousse on the ends of your hair and blow dry it then you can try straightening it after that

Help please my hair is so thick and frizzy?

I bet your hair is not really frizzy, you just think that compared to all the straight sleek styles. If your hair is Afro, then use products to show off the curls - go to a hairdresser who has the right hair products for you! If you just have curly hair, there are plenty of things to do: don't brush your hair, make sure you use a shampoo and separate conditioner. Don't wear it up all the time though at least not in the exact same style, change the style from time to time or use different hair accessories. Speak to family members and get some advice!

Help please my hair is so thick and frizzy?

IF YOU WANNA TRY A NEW MORE CONTROLLED LOOK GO TO THE SALON AND GET A WASH AND A ROLLER SET FOLLOWED BY A DOOBIE THIS IS BASICALLY A WRAP WHEN YOU COMB YOUR HAIR DOWN AFTER THIS PROCESS IT WILL HAVE A CONTROLLED BUT BOUNCY LOOK YOU SHOULD BE SATISFIED BECAUSE IT SIMPLE AND GIVES YOU ALOT MORE LEVERAGE WHEN YOU WANT TO DO DIFFERENT THINGS WITH YOUR HAIR

Help please my hair is so thick and frizzy?

if it was me i'd get it thinned out

Hair question. fairly thick. dirty blonde. new cut!?!?!?

hello.

i need a new hair cut.

i have dirty blonde hair, and it falls 3-4 inches below my shoulder.. middle back.

i was wondering if you had any suggestions of what i could do with it that is different.. but not too crazy.

like i dont want it really short.

and i dont want to color it.

i have green eyes btw.

i have a kinda longish face.. so anything that would look good with that let me know

thankss for all the ideas.

also. any specific hairstyles that would look good are greatly appreciated.

Hair question. fairly thick. dirty blonde. new cut!?!?!?

If you have thick hair, I think layers would look great. Maybe you can get bangs or sideswept bangs (they'd look good with a long face). Maybe cut it an inch or two, but you're right, I don't think a short cut is the best course of action.

And you're right about the color. Blonde hair looks awesome with green eyes!

I'm sure you'll find a look that's great for you. Try looking in hair magazines, watching out for a model that has similar face structures or hair compared to you.

Hair question. fairly thick. dirty blonde. new cut!?!?!?

layer it having hair that layers lifts the face and if its rather "thinish" it give a more full look. Its also very easy to take care of. but with the blonde you have to be care to go to a good beautician because the blonde shows a bad cut really good... trust me i to have blonde hair.

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

It's blonde, short, and going out in 20 mins. Thanks

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

if you have a flat iron try that...if not plug in your iron that you iron your clothes with....with a towel or oven mitt on one hand you can iron it out so it wont be so wild, takes about 5 mins once the iron is heated

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

spritz with some water and comb through

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

Wet it down with cold water, or put it up.

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

If you haven't got any serum, get a tiny tiny amount of moisturiser and run it through your hair but not on your roots as it will make it extremely greasy.

And the next time you blow dry your hair, point the nozzle downwards and use your brush to go down the length of hair you are drying, at the same time as moving the nozzle down the length of your hair. will keep your split ends down and give you a nice sleek look.

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

tell me about it i already have thick hair!!!!!!!! sorry don't what can you do

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

Brush it through, then iron it with straighteners.

It'll take you 10 minutes, tops!

Enjoy your night out!

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

Use a very light moisturizer and comb while you dry.

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

know anyone nearby with straighteners...?

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

Moisture, moisturize moisturize. If its, really short, trying wetting it, putting some leave in conditioner on it, scrunch and letting it air dry (natural curly look) or tie it down and let it air dry for a straight look.

Next time, try a straighting serum. Avon sells one. Check out www.youravon.com/la-dashabooth

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

IF YOU HAVE A STRAIGHTENER GO AHEAD AND STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR. THIS WILL DEFINITELY DO THE TRICK!!! AND IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE (THIS MIGHT SOUND WEIRD, BUT IT WORKS..) STRAIGHTEN IT WITH AN IRON. THATS THE WAY WE DID IT IN THE OL DAYS WHEN THEY HADN'T INVENTED STRAIGHTENERS.

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

Enjoy your evening!

I'll bet that it looks wonderful and that no one says anything nasty!

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

put a bit of moose through it that will calm it down

Used a hairdryer for the first time, and my hair's become SO thick and wild! What can I do?

straighten it
