How does the overnight scrunch work for thick, naturally wavy/frizzy hair? realllly need quick help?

taking a shower in the morning and attempting to scrunch it doesn't work well with my hair. i'm probably not scrunching correctly but when i wasn't even trying to scrunch my hair one night after taking a shower i threw it up in a bun so i wouldn't sleep with a cold wet head. the next day it looked amazing. i just don't know what i did because i tried again throwing it up like how i did before and it didn't work.

braid the bun before you put it up. then in the morning it will just be damp and go from there-it worked for me

watch this video on aussie..go to expert info advice and watch the video to make loose waves. rly works. but on shoulder length hair, it makes it look like the 80s

well i have thick hair and how i like to do my hair is; get a defusser for your blowdryer, and get the curly hair mouse from herbal essences, its in a purple can. put it in your hair, flip your hair upside down and scrunch it while you blowdry it. it gives it volume and curl. keep going until its almost dry, then spray a little hairspray in your hair, and keep blowdrying it while you scrunch it. it always makes my hair look good.

I have the same problem. Maybe you used a different shampoo when it turned out the first time. Try Vavroom- Take Me Higher, made by Matrix. You can get it at most Hair salons

I have that same problem. I take a shower at night then towel dry it a little and put some gel mousse and hairspray and throw it up in a messy bun. Then in the morning it comes out curly. Hope i helped. =]]

i straightend my hair forwards instead of the normal way once out of laziness i just tipped my head forward so it all hung over my head and straightend it

it actually made my hair look better than normal

tried it again and it never worked out

i was gutted
