Help please my hair is so thick and frizzy?

my hair is so uncontrollable iv just washed it and i dont want to blow dry it , it does'ent curl with tongs, and it wont straighten properly without going frizzy. WHAT CAN I DO i hate it do i get long layers or do i get it thinned or do i just leave it and is there any NON expensize product i can put on it. any answers will be usfull ones cos i have really had enough of it.

i wear it up for school and i want to wear it differently but if i wear it down it is this huge frizzy afro which i really dont want so wearing it up is my only choice please help me !!:( if this dosent work i might have to do somthing drastic and i reli dont want to lol

John Frieda's Dream Curls, it isn't all that cheap but the bottle does last ages as you don't need much for an application, so over time it doesn't work out too expensive.

Just spray it on after you've towel dried your hair, then blow dry, the frizz should be gone. i have to use it every day but it does work.

Dont thin u will look funny i have the same problem wut i do is there is this stuff u can get @ walmart and it is orange its called Cholesterol it works magic o and shampoo and Conditioner Vive Loreal for thick dry rebellious hair i love this stuff!

Biosilk!!!! The Silk Therapy worked wonders on my hair when it was long! My hair is REALLY thick REALLY wavy and this tamed it so well. MUCH better than any other serum I ever used on my hair. I use it on my daughter's long (down to her legs) hair - it works wonders!

I would suggest Sauve. It is very inexpensive, and I find it works better than all of the products you can find at a hairdresser. Don't blow dry your hair unless you absolutely have to. It makes it frizzy, and drys it out. Straightening, or curling your hair every so often would be okay as long as you have the right kind of straightener, or curler. Mine is a CHI and it locks in moisture. After you straighten your hair you might get a few fly aways. Sometimes I will take a bit of water and smooth them down, but don't do this, and straighten again. Now for your thickness I suggest you get it thinned out with a razor. This way you won't have to straighten it every day for it to look good. Also you will save your poor hair from the side effects of many straightners.

My hair is the same as yours, but when i went to a new hair salon they made my hair the best ive ever seen it. I had long layers put in it and they then blow dryed it, straighten it and then they put some leave im condition on their hand and slided it through my hair then combed it through, this made my hair looking and feeling thinner and it looked great i now do this at home and if i want it curly i do all this first then i just use some curlers in my hair. I hope this helps you like it did me.

you could try using thinning scissors on it and also when it wont straighten properly after you have washed your hair put mousse on the ends of your hair and blow dry it then you can try straightening it after that

I bet your hair is not really frizzy, you just think that compared to all the straight sleek styles. If your hair is Afro, then use products to show off the curls - go to a hairdresser who has the right hair products for you! If you just have curly hair, there are plenty of things to do: don't brush your hair, make sure you use a shampoo and separate conditioner. Don't wear it up all the time though at least not in the exact same style, change the style from time to time or use different hair accessories. Speak to family members and get some advice!
