What's a good hair cut for people with thick, straight (slightly wavy at the middle) hair?

i was growing it out. now it looks so limp. i hate it. but since it's inbetween wavy and straight, it's always so unmanageable. and i hate putting high heat on my hair. i want a haircut that cut look wavier and bouncier. eerrr

layers or bangs would look really cute

Japanese straightening would be a good choice.

Its a little costly, and you have to get it done about every 6 months. I got it done to my hair because mines the same way you described your hair to be. Its worth the money!

I've got the same kind of hair. Depends on what shape your face is, actually. Mines an eggish look...so I have my hair curve around my chin...which gives my face a longer look...but I look good :) I've also got long bangs so it blends in. The waves are mostly in the back, near my neck, so it gives my hair a bouncy look. My hair is kinda like Cameron Diaz. try looking into celeb hairstyle mags....maybe something you like will come up?

Get layers! Layers makes your hair exactly how you described it. Also if you want to be a little risky do side bangs (it looks good on almost every one). personally you have great hair, im totally jealous.

Good Luck!
